Discover your visual language through mixed media.

All Levels

In this two day workshop you will explore and develop your personal style through intuitive, mixed media processes. Using techniques like mark making, collage, drawing and layering you’ll create a series of small to medium works on paper and a mini artist book or 2.

Guided prompts and playful experimentation will help you uncover your visual language and build confidence in your creative voice. Expect a relaxed, process-driven environment focused on exploration and storytelling through materials.

Some materials will be available to experiment with and to purchase. 

Materials List 
• Scissors
• Glue stick
• Pva or modge podge
• Frog tape
• Tissue paper
• Acrylic Ink
• Acrylic paints in whatever colours you like but red, blue, yellow, black and white at a bare minimum.
• Paint brushes of various sizes including a fan brush
• Stamp pad
• Watercolours
• Charcoal 
• Pencil
• Markers/poscas
• Water-soluble pencils and/or pastels eg Inktense or Caran D'Ache Neo Colour 2
• Paper towel
• Dish for water

Material fee $15pp.

• Multiple sheets of 300gsm Canson A3 watercolour card
• Collage papers
• Access to many other mixed media to experiment with.
