Printmaking from Dry Etched boards with Kirsty White
$111.00
Join New Zealand landscape printmaker Kirsty White for a full day exploring printmaking from dry etched boards on Saturday 5th September 9.30am – 3.30pm
Kirsty's prints are known for the way local history weaves through them, built up through multiple layers, techniques, and colours — with every hand-printed piece carrying its own unique variations in tone.
Kirsty's work has recently been spotted for sale at Te Papa and Ora Gallery on Allen Street, and she's the author of Proof, published in 2022. She's also been featured in a YouTube interview sharing her techniques and tips for beginners.
This is Kirsty's third workshop with Mana Arts Society, and she's returning to the content of her original February dry etching workshop. If you joined her August session making collagraph plates, this is a great opportunity to combine both techniques and create layered prints like those in her own work.
Suitable for both beginner and intermediate printmakers.
Kirsty's classes have consistently sold out at Mana Arts Society, with past participants praising her teaching style and the quality of content covered. Don't miss your chance to learn from one of Wellington's standout printmakers.
