The Working Visual Diary with Gill Allen
$85.00
Date: Saturday 23 January 2027, 9.30 - 4.00pm
Start your new creative year by creating a visual diary that becomes more than a place to draw with tutor Gill Allen on Saturday 23 January 2027, 9.30 - 4.00pm.
Join Gill for a day of, experimenting, layering and playing as we explore how a visual diary can become a working space for your art practice.
We’ll use drawing, painting, collage, found papers, images, colour and mark-making to capture inspiration, develop ideas and open up new creative possibilities.
There’s no pressure to create perfect pages. Instead, we’ll embrace curiosity, experimentation and the freedom to play — creating a visual resource to keep your creativity moving throughout the year.
A fresh year. A fresh book. A place for ideas to begin.
A handout will be made available to attendees via an email link after the workshop. This will be a valuable reminder and prompt for the year ahead.
Suitable for artists of all levels.
